Watching the cricket like a real Aussie!

I've gone to sooo many social engagements lately, we've caught up with lots of human and doggy family and friends....Time for a break to check out the cricket like a real Aussie!

It was so nice just to chill with my friends. It's hard work performing at social engagements. I have to be on my best behaviour and smile all the time. Gee, my cheek muscles do get a bit of a work out!  It's nice to be able to pile onto Kobe's dad to settle down after a hectic couple of days. He didn't seem to mind....

What an exciting game! We demolished the English team by 8 wickets taking a 4-0 lead from a game of 5!

Now I can rest knowing that we're set to win the Ashes...Time to get some beauty sleep.

Cafe Bones- the place to be!

In the morning we were all bundled up in the car for an exciting new adventure. Kobe and Katsu said that they've been to Cafe Bones before and it's an awesome place to chill, meet some new friends and even sip a puppycino.

I was sooooo excited!

We met lots of dogs big and small.

Kobe's dad thought that I might like to try a puppycino since it's my first time here and I managed to get a sip in before this happened....

I was a tad disappointed that I didn't get to finish my puppycino...then again, I think Katsu was even more shocked than I was that someone as big as that decided to crowd her space! That's ok though because I got some pats as consolation.

After a nice long play and sip of puppycino it was time to go home. I decided that I wanted to share my 'adventure capsule' (because it always takes me to new adventures when I jump in) with Kobe. He seemed to really enjoy it!

This is Mox, checking out for her nap- until next time!

Moxie Maclary....endlessly merry

Kobe's great-grandma thinks that I'm a celeb look-a-like.....

I bet I can be famous too with just a bit of help from some friends like Schnitzel von Krumm....

Who wouldn't love me with my scruffy coat and endless enthusiasm?

Running a Mox

Sometimes when you're Moxie a walk just isn't enough. You need to run and you need to run fast.

Of course not everyone can keep up with me, so I ditched my little friends and took one of my minders for a proper run. He cheated a bit and used his bike to keep up.

I ran and ran and ran and ran. I am Moxie, watch me run.

Eventually I did run out of energy, and trailed along home - Moxie

More Christmas

Christmas day can only mean one thing for little ones like us...presents!

We got some Christmas crackers from Kobe and Katsu's grandma, along with lots of other treats and toys. Kobe and I had a pretty good go at popping one, but the only way was to eat our way in. There were even more treats inside.

What an eventful day. After all the unwrapping (it's hard without opposable thumbs) and chewing there's nothing left to do but settle down with a snack and keep on chewing.

Tomorrow should be a much less eventful day. Maybe I'll just sit back and watch the cricket...

P.S. We swear she's not eating too many treats...it's Christmas after all :)

It's Christmas Time!

I haven't got much experience with Christmas, but it seems awfully exciting. There's a lot of hustle and bustle round the house with Kobe and Katsu's Dad cooking something that smells great!

I helped make sure the turkey was just right!

Soon the cooking was done and we were off in the car for dinner.

All my hard work supervising the food paid off with a great spread. Look, there's the turkey I watched!I had lots of fun and joined in all the best conversations. In case you're wondering Kobe, Katsu and I did get some of that turkey! (but not too much, despite asking everyone very nicely)Soon though I was all tired out and it was time to head home for sleep.

All in all I had a pretty good Christmas. I miss my Mum and Dad, but at least I'm full of turkey and happy with my friends.- Moxie

Day 1...Walk 1

We all went out for a walk this morning all around the bay. I met a new puppy friend called Reuben and we played chase in the park. He barked, I barked and even Kobe joined in too!

What a long walk! I'm pooped.....

But not too pooped to keep a half eye out for the the turkey in the oven. As you can see, Kobe and I are taking shifts supervising.

Can't wait for Christmas dinner :)

It's hard to say goodbye to Mummy

It's OK Mox, she's coming back!

Mummy dropped me off with Kobe and Katsu after a nice walk. She didn't want to make a big deal out of it since she didn't want me to get upset.

It's hard to say goodbye to Mummy, but it helps to have a friend with you....
